Using Tencent Maps, Urban NOA Lite of Horizon Continental Technology Will Be Launched in the Market by 2025
Horizon Continental Technology L2+intelligent driving solution Astra will use Tencent Maps to achieve urban NOA lite function. Tencent Maps contains road network, road topology semantic information, as well as road background, etc. The intelligent driving system will not rely on pre made high-precision maps, but will perceive the environment in real time through sensors such as cameras and millimeter wave radar, and use this perception data for vehicle positioning, environment modeling, and driving decisions. Compared to commonly used high-precision maps in the market, Tencent Maps has a wider coverage area, significantly reduces costs, and supports faster updates, allowing users to enjoy the safety, comfort, and convenience of advanced intelligent driving in more areas.
In terms of driving performance, using Tencent Maps' Horizon Continental Technology urban NOA lite can accurately identify road elements, locate vehicle positions in real time, and issue commands accurately and timely. When encountering complex scenarios such as mixed traffic on narrow roads, left and right turn games, multi lane intersections under overpasses, and congested ramp convergence, the intelligent driving system can achieve sharp and seamless passage based on real-time road conditions.

Tencent Maps' nationwide road network data coverage has reached 11 million+ kilometers, which can meet the requirements of intelligent driving that can drive anywhere. At the same time, Tencent Maps supports unified online and offline data calling, with open and flexible interfaces that support flexible data applications and solution design. It can be quickly applied to various aspects such as algorithm training, deployment, and inference. At present, Horizon Continental Technology has completed the deployment of Tencent Maps, and the urban NOA lite based on Tencent Map will be published in 2025.
